Author Information

The author of Logical Fallacies .Info is Tim Holt. Tim has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in philosophy from the University of Sheffield, and a Diploma in Theology from the University of Oxford. He is currently completing his doctoral thesis on theistic ethics, and his PGCE. From September 2005, he has been teaching philosophy, religious studies, and critical thinking at Cirencester College.

Tim is a fan of and casual participant in numerous sports. He won a half-blue at the 2001 Orienteering Varsity Match, and does the occasional long-distance walk. In August 2003 he and his wife Jenny walked the length of the Welsh border (about 180 miles) on the Offa’s Dyke Path, and in 2006 they completed the West Highland Way. He supports Tottenham Hotspur; she is learning to do the same.

Tim also enjoys playing chess, growing chillis, and Islay malts.
